Africa is a large venue, with seating for 120 inside and two huge separate outdoor areas, 100-150 in the Village and up to 400 in the Courtyard. Saturday is the big night for parties but Thursdays and Fridays increasingly attract functions. Licensed for 420 guests with an abundance of parking.
Our a la carte menu has a wide range of meals and prices, with an emphasis on substantial, wholesome food. We're not shy about serving protein! Steaks, ribs and burgers are a speciality. All meals are prepared from fresh, New Zealand ingredients by Head Chef Andy Chapman and his team. Most menu items are available to take away.
The Serengeti Room is for corporate meetings, seminars, private dining, stag dos, etc. Available free of charge to guests using our food and beverage facilities.
Africa is the home of country music in Auckland and Jamesray and Friends have been performing from Midday to 3pm every Sunday for 9 years. Great lunch experience!
